I have a question I need help with, please include the steps and response. A boy and his skateboard have a combined weight of 60.0 kg, after an initial push, the boy begins to cabotage 5.5m / S along a level path. Friction leads to rest in 5.0s. If the combined force of gravity on the boy and the skateboard is 590N, what is the average coefficient of friction between the entrance and skateboard wheels?
Acceleration (a) = (V2 – V1) / T = (0 to 5.5) / 5 = -1.1 ms ^ -2 F = ma F = 60 x 1.1 = 66N friction (F) = 66 = U UR U = 0.111 x 590
